Non-Basmati rice is the volume staple: lower priced than Basmati, cooked every day across South India, institutional kitchens and much of the Gulf and African re-export trade. The workhorse long-grain of the bulk trade. Parboiled IR 64 ships in volume to institutional buyers and the African and Gulf re-export markets at a keen price.
Sharbati rice
A long, slender grain with a Basmati-like appearance at a Non-Basmati price. Popular where buyers want the look of Basmati on a tighter budget.
Sugandha rice
An aromatic long-grain, often milled as steam or sella, that offers a fragrant, Basmati-adjacent eating quality for value-led aromatic programmes.
PR 11 rice
A firm, medium-long grain that holds its shape well when parboiled — a dependable bulk staple for institutional and re-export supply.
Parmal raw rice
An economical everyday raw rice for high-volume kitchens and the value retail shelf, milled to a clean, consistent grade.
