Can you export rice from India to Comoros?
Yes. Om Prasadam exports rice from India to Comoros under APEDA registration, shipping to Moroni on Grande Comore or Mutsamudu on Anjouan in sixteen to twenty days, usually via a transshipment hub. Rice is the staple food of the Comoros and the islands import essentially all of it, so this is a small market with steady, non-discretionary demand. Because the volumes are modest, we accept part-container and mixed programmes from five tonnes per grade, and can consolidate through Port Louis or Dar es Salaam where a direct call does not suit the schedule.
